Visit from Tamayouz Architecture Award in Baghdad

On the sidelines of the Arab Architectural Festival, organized by the Tamayouz Architecture Award in cooperation with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Iraqi Colleges of Architecture, taking place from October 1 to 5, 2025, the Ibrahimi Collection and Iwan - Link Art Space in Baghdad hosted the architects participating in the conference to view the exhibition Tales and Images from Iraq.

The space's management team presented a brief introduction to the founding of the modern art movement in Iraq during its pioneering phase, represented by the Baghdad Group for Modern Art, which drew inspiration from the heritage of the Iraqi School of Islamic Painting in the 12th century.

The attendees toured the two exhibition spaces dedicated to selected works by a wide range of Iraqi artists, gaining insights into the remarkable creative and intellectual contributions from the past century up to the present day.
