Iwan – Link Art Space Opening Celebration

After preparations that took more than two years of continuous work, the Ibrahimi Collection in Baghdad opened its permanent exhibition halls under the name "Iwan – Link Art Space" which displayed selections of creative works symbolizing the Iraqi fine art movement from its founding until now.

The exhibition contained more than 150 artworks in painting, sculpture, art books, and ceramics by more than 90 artists from Iraq who represent the progress and development of modern and contemporary art in Iraq.

Saturday evening of November 18, 2023, we held an Iraqi artistic celebration, in which many lovers of art and beauty from the provinces of Iraq and outside of it participated. Dozens of the artistic and cultural elite community in Iraq attended the opening.

We work hard to spread and enhance the position of Iraqi culture and creativity and preserve the creative memory available for generations of elders, youth, and children.
