- 1968 He left Iraq and traveled to Germany to study and work.

- 1972 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
- 1974 He participated in the First Arab Biennale exhibition in Baghdad.
- He obtained his doctorate in modern art from Germany.
- 2009 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Sumer and the West" at Qebab Gallery of Fine Arts in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and exhibited 49 artworks.
- 2010 He held a solo exhibition at Al-Arjoun Hall in Abu Dhabi.
- He founded the Enad Academy of Fine Arts (according to his grandfather's name), specialized mainly in graphic art, and many artists graduated from it.
- Two of his works are preserved by the Dresden Museum in Germany, which are among the permanent exhibits of the museum.
- March 24, 2012 The artist passed away at the age of sixty-four from a terminal illness in a hospital in Potsdam, Germany.
