  • 1948 Artist Dawood Salman Enad was born in Baghdad, Iraq.
  • 1955 - 1964 He completed his primary, middle and secondary school studies in Baghdad.
  • 1964 - 1967 / 1968 He studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
  • 1968 He left Iraq and traveled to Germany to study and work.
  • 1969 - 1973 He completed his studies in art in Germany.
  • 1972 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1974 He participated in the First Arab Biennale exhibition in Baghdad.
  • He obtained his doctorate in modern art from Germany.
  • 2009 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Sumer and the West" at Qebab Gallery of Fine Arts in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and exhibited 49 artworks.
  • 2010 He held a solo exhibition at Al-Arjoun Hall in Abu Dhabi.
  • He founded the Enad Academy of Fine Arts (according to his grandfather's name), specialized mainly in graphic art, and many artists graduated from it.
  • Two of his works are preserved by the Dresden Museum in Germany, which are among the permanent exhibits of the museum.
  • March 24, 2012 The artist passed away at the age of sixty-four from a terminal illness in a hospital in Potsdam, Germany.
