  • 1964 Artist Ghassan Ghaeb was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
  • 1971 - 1979 He completed his primary and middle school studies in Baghdad.
  • 1980 - 1986 He studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
  • 1985 He participated in the first plastic exhibition for youth on the occasion of the International Year of Youth and the Fifth Wasiti Festival in Baghdad.
  • 1986 He participated in the first Baghdad International Festival for Plastic Arts in Baghdad.
  • 1987 He participated in the sixth Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad and won its prize and participated in the fourteenth anniversary of the ruling party exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1988 He participated in the second Baghdad International Festival of Plastic Art in Baghdad and the fifteenth anniversary of the ruling party exhibition in the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1989 He participated in the sixteenth anniversary of the ruling party exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad, the seventh Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad, and the Second Babylon Music Festival.
  • 1991 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition in Amman and the Eighth Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad.
  • 1992 He participated in the International Mahres Exhibition in Tunisia and an exhibition of three Iraqi artists entitled "Series of Experiences" at Saddam Art Center in Baghdad and the exhibition "Three Iraqi Artists and a Potter" at Baladna Hall in Amman, Jordan, the Youth Exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad, and the Mother of Battle Festival.
  • 1993 - 1997 He studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a BA.
  • 1995 He participated in an exhibition of eight artists at Hiwar Gallery in Baghdad.
  • 1996 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at Hiwar Hall in Baghdad, an exhibition of the One Dimension Group in Amman, and the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at Athar Hall in Baghdad, and won the third prize of the Contemporary Iraqi Art Festival.

  • 2000 He participated in an exhibition of seven artists of the siege generation from Iraq at the Institute of the Arab World in Paris, the exhibition "Glimpses of Genius from the Mesopotamia" in London, an exhibition in Hiwar Hall in Baghdad, and an exhibition with artists Hana Malallah and Kareem Risan at Athr Art Gallery in Baghdad and he won the Creativity Prize in Baghdad.
  • 2001 He held a solo exhibition at Al-Orfali Hall in Amman and participated in an exhibition of six Iraqi artists at Dar Al-Bareh in Bahrain.
  • 2002 He participated in the Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh.
  • 2003 He participated in the exhibition "Iraq (Before, After, Now)" at the Deluxe Gallery in London and the Exhibition of Contemporary Artists from Iraq at Green Art Gallery in Dubai.
  • 2004 He participated in the exhibition "Greetings to Shaker Hassan Al Said" at Al-Orfali Hall in Amman.
  • 2005 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Tattoos" at Dar Al Anda in Amman and participated in the Iraqi Art Exhibition at the East West Foundation in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and the exhibition "Greetings to Shaker Hassan Al Said and Greetings to Ismail Fattah" at Athr Hall in Baghdad and the exhibition "Creative Improvisations - Seven Iraqi Artists" and an exhibition with the artists Hana Malallah and Kareem Risan at Athr Gallery of Art in Baghdad.
  • 2006 He participated in the exhibition "A word on modern art artists in the Middle East" at the British Museum in London, the World Cup of Original Printing and Engraving in France, and the Third International Collage Exhibition in Vilnius in Lithuania.

  • 2012 He participated in the exhibition "Nostalgia" with the artist Ahmed Al-Bahrani in Amman.
