  • 1954 The intuitive sculptor Hadi Kadhem Nseif was born in Baghdad, Iraq.
  • 1961 - 1971 Completed his primary, middle, and high school studies in Baghdad, Iraq.
  • In the early nineties, he began working as a designer of theatrical decorations, where he worked at the Academy of Fine Arts on the invitation of Dr. Fadhil Khalil, Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts.
  • His beginnings in wood carving were when he started carving some theatrical tools as part of his work as a designer of theatrical decorations, the first of which was the “Sidra” play in the nineties. Without any academic training, he relied on his natural and intuitive talent for sculpting.
  • His first sculptural work was of a man and a woman arguing that he carved on a tree stem he brought with him from Beirut. his work was admired by many specialists such as Dr. Fadhil Khalil and Dr. Najim Haider, who encouraged him to continue sculpting.
  • Created more than 127 sculptural works, all are wooden sculptures and doors.
  • Held several solo exhibitions and participated in many art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq.
  • Member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate.
  • Member of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association.
  • Currently living in Baghdad and works in his own studio using simple tools such as a file and a blade, and does not use any electrical tool while working on his wooden sculptures.
