  • 1920 Artist Suzanne Al-Cheikhli was born in France to French parents.
  • 1940 She studied and graduated from the Institute of Applied Arts in Paris.
  • She married Iraqi artist Ismail Al-Cheikhli at the beginning of the fifties and returned with him to Baghdad where she remained until she passed away.
  • 1953 She joined the Pioneers Group and participated in all its exhibitions until 1983.
  • 1958 She participated in the exhibition of the National Geographic Institute in Paris.
  • 1973 She participated in the fifteenth exhibition of the Fine Artists Association, which was held in the hall of the Fine Artists Association in Baghdad.
  • 1974 She participated in an exhibition entitled From Seine to the Tigris.
  • She participated in all exhibitions of Al-Wasiti Festival.
  • She participated in the exhibitions of the seven pioneers, which was held in Amman, Jordan.
  • 1983 She participated in an exhibition entitled "From Paris to Baghdad", which was held at Al-Riwaq Gallery in Baghdad.
  • She held her last solo exhibition at Faik Hassan Hall in Al-Hamra.
  • 2008 The artist passed away in Baghdad, Iraq, at the age of eighty-eight and was buried there.
  • 2012 Her works were displayed at an exhibition entitled “Fifty Years of Love for France and Iraq” was held at the French Institute in Baghdad.
  • 2016 Her works were displayed at an exhibition entitled “Iraqi Painters” was held in cooperation between the Association of Iraqi Plastic Artists and the Association of Lebanese Artists for Painting and Sculpture in Beirut.
  • She was a member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate.
  • She was a member of the Iraqi Fine Artists Association.
