  • 1945 Artist Sheniar Abdullah was born in Baqubah, Iraq.
  • 1952 - 1962 He completed his primary, middle and high school studies in Baqubah.
  • 1964 - 1968 He studied and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad and obtained a BA in ceramics.
  • 1968 He held a solo exhibition at the Czech Cultural Center in Baghdad.
  • 1971 He held a solo exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
  • 1972 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association at the Media Club and Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad.
  • 1974 He participated in the first April Exhibition at the Academy of Arts hall and the first Arab Biennale exhibition in Baghdad.
  • 1976 He participated in a joint exhibition of six ceramists in Lansing, Michigan, in the United States of America.
  • 1977 He held a solo exhibition at Williamston Gallery in Michigan, USA, and participated in the 4th April Exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1978 He graduated from the University of Michigan in the United States of America and obtained a master's degree, and held a solo exhibition at the University of Michigan Hall.
  • 1979 He participated in the Contemporary Ceramics Exhibition in Damascus, Syria and Venezuela, and the Asilah Festival in Morocco.
  • 1980 He held a solo exhibition at Al-Riwaq Hall in Baghdad and participated in the Asilah Festival in Morocco and the 7th April Exhibition at the Hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1981 He held a solo exhibition at Al-Riwaq Hall in Baghdad.
  • 1982 He participated in an exhibition with the artist Hashim Al-Tawil in Baghdad and the second Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad.

  • 2016 He participated in the La Mardiana Ceramics Festival in Italy, the Vaidava Ceramics Festival in Vaidava, Latvia, the Tunisia International Ceramics Festival in Sfax, Tunisia, the retrospective annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association and the Iraqi Ceramists Exhibition at the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
  • 2017 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Regular and Irregular" at Al-Orfali Hall in Amman and participated in the International Ceramics Festival in Mino Tajimi, Japan and the Cluj International Ceramics Festival in Cluj, Romania.
  • 2019 He participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Artists from Iraq" at Ras Al-Ain Gallery in Amman and the annual exhibition of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association in Baghdad.
  • He lives in Amman and works full time from his studio in Amman, Jordan.
