1962 Artist Nadim Kufi was born in the capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1969 - 1979 He completed his primary, middle and high school studies in Baghdad.

2007 He held a solo entitled "The Manuscript" at Gallery Lines in Amman and participated in the exhibition "The Iraqi Equation" in Sweden, Germany and Spain, the exhibition "In Focus This Day" at the Tate Modern Museum in London, and the exhibition "Recognize" at the Contemporary Art Platform in London and the "Daftar (Notebook) Project" in Sweden and "Red Zone - Green Zone" exhibition at the Free Academy – GEMAK in The Hague, Netherlands.
2008 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Soap and Silence" at La Fountaine Gallery in Bahrain and participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Artists in Exile" at Station Museum in Houston-USA.
2009 He held a solo exhibition entitled "The Moon Follows Us" at Sultan Gallery in Kuwait and participated in the exhibition "Emirates through Arab Eyes" at Ayyam Gallery in Dubai and the exhibition "Cosmopolite - for Holland’s Bridge" in Amsterdam and an exhibition at the Barjeel Art Foundation in Sharjah, UAE.
2010 He held a solo exhibition in Abu Dhabi Art Fair in Abu Dhabi and a solo exhibition at AB Gallery in Switzerland. He participated in the exhibition "Skyward" in Dubai, the Beirut Art Fair in Beirut, the exhibition "Modern and Contemporary Middle East" in Bonhams in London and an exhibition at the William Baars Gallery in Amsterdam.

2019 He participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Artists from Iraq" at Ras Al-Ain Gallery in Amman.
2020 He held a solo exhibition entitled "Personal Dictionary" at the Fire Station in Doha, Qatar.
He lives in the Netherlands with his family, works full-time in art, and makes regular visits to Amman, Beirut, Doha and other Arab cities.
