1934 Artist Miran Al-Saadi was born in Baghdad – Iraq.
He is one of the generation’s pioneers in contemporary Iraqi sculpture and is known for his creative methods and his bold attempt in the art of sculpture, and he accomplished many monuments in Baghdad's squares, The Jars Monument in front of the Iraqi Museum in the Alawi area (1962), the Arab Knight Monument (1972), and the Eagles Square Monument (1969).
1953 He joined Baghdad Modern Art Group and exhibited his works in their exhibitions.
1951-1955 He studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1958 He participated in the Baghdad Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture in Al-Mansour Club and exhibited two of his works. He participated in the exhibition of the revolution at the hall of the Republican Sports Club in Baghdad, and exhibited one work.
1958 He traveled to Rome to complete his studies with a group of artists, including Ismail Fattah, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He participated in several group art exhibitions in Rome during his studies.
1962 He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He returned to Baghdad.
1963 He held a solo exhibition of his works in Baghdad.
He participated in many Group and National exhibitions inside and outside Iraq, including those of the Baghdad Group for Modern Art.
1971 He participated in the Baghdad Group Exhibition on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of its founding in Baghdad.
1976 He participated in the third art exhibition held on the occasion of the establishment of the ruling party at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1995 The artist passed away at the age of sixty-one
He was a member of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Syndicate.
