1955 Artist Luther Eshoo Adam was born in Amadiyah district in the village of Dere in the Dohuk governorate. He comes from an Assyrian family that moved after that to live in the city of Mosul. The artist's father was a priest working in the Mosul train station, and his talent in art grew from a young age, so his parents encouraged him to continue honing his talent.
1962 - 1972 He completed his primary school studies at Al-Rafidain Elementary School and Middle School in Zaza Middle School in Erbil and high school in Eastern High School in Mosul.
In the seventies, he requested to study at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, but was not accepted due to the lack of one mark from the required average, so he remained in Mosul and continued to develop his talent and techniques by himself in plastic art.
1977 He participated in the Arab Youth Festival in Baghdad.
1979 He held his first solo exhibition in Nineveh and participated in the exhibition of Nineveh artists in Aleppo, Syria.
1981 He participated in the exhibition of three artists from Nineveh.
1982 He participated in the exhibition of Nineveh artists at the Tahrir Hall in Baghdad.
1985 He participated in the International Year of Youth exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1988 He participated in the exhibition of the Baghdida Martyrs Museum in Nineveh.
1995 He participated in the exhibition of the International Conference of the Church of the East at the Hall of Al-Alawyia Club in Baghdad.
1996 He participated in an exhibition at the Al-Ina Hall in Baghdad and at the Hammurabi Gallery in Amman, Jordan.
1998 He participated in an exhibition at Shaheen Hall in Beirut, the Wasiti Festival in Baghdad, and the exhibition of Nineveh artists in Mosul.
1999 He obtained a Certificate of Merit from the International Committee of the Red Cross.
2000 - 2004 He studied and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, obtained a bachelor’s degree and was a founding member of the "Nineveh" Group.
2000 He participated in the exhibition "The First Autumn Salon" at the Clock Hall in Mosul.
2001 He participated in a sculpture and planning exhibition entitled "The Language of the Chisel and the Pen," and the exhibition of "Look at My City" and the exhibition "The Second Autumn Salon" at the Clock Hall in Mosul.
2002 He participated in the exhibition "April Flowers" and the exhibition "Nineveh Group" at the Clock Hall in Mosul and the exhibition "Miniature Iraqi Art" and the exhibition "Nature in Iraqi Art" and won a prize in this exhibition at Hiwar Hall in Baghdad and the Iraqi Art exhibtion in Paris and an exhibition entitled “God’s Face” at Babylon College in Baghdad.
2005 He participated in the second exhibition of the Nineveh Group, in cooperation with the French Cultural Center, at the Hall of Space and Art.
2006 He participated in the exhibition of Nineveh artists at the University of Mosul.
He taught art in several schools in northern Iraq, and at the Institute and then the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul.
2009 He participated in an exhibition in Linz, Austria.
He participated in several art exhibitions inside and outside Iraq.
June 18, 2011 The artist passed away at the age of fifty-six of a heart attack and was buried in his hometown in Amadiyah district.
August 6, 2011 A memorial service and an exhibition on the forty-day anniversary of the artist’s death were held at the hall of the Baghdida Theater for acting.
23-24 October 2011 A memorial service and a retrospective exhibition for the artist were held by the Austrian Catholic Church in Linz, Austria.
