1940 Artist Ali Al-Najjar was born in capital, Baghdad, Iraq.
1947 - 1957 He completed his primary, middle and secondary school studies in Baghdad schools.
1957 - 1961 He studied and graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1966 He held a solo exhibition at the Soviet Cultural Center in Baghdad.
1968 He held a solo exhibition at the Iraqi Artists Association in Baghdad.
1971 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition in Kuwait.
1972 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.

2014 A book signing ceremony for the artist's biography was held at Dar Al-Anda in Amman.
2016 He participated in the exhibition "Iraqi Painters", in cooperation with the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association and the Lebanese Association of Painting and Sculpture in Beirut.
He lives and works full time art in Malmö, Sweden.
