1957 - 1958 He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1972 He received his doctorate in graphic art from Dresden University of Technology in Dresden- State of Saxony -Eastern Germany.
1974 He participated in the cultural festival of Al-Thawra newspaper in Baghdad.
1980 He participated in the seventh party exhibition at the hall of the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1981 He held a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
1985 He participated in the Contemporary Iraqi Graphic Exhibition at the Al-Orfali Gallery in Baghdad.
1986 He wrote a textbook entitled "Paper Printing Techniques" for the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1992 He wrote another book entitled "Foundations of Design" for the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
For twenty years the artist was working as a professor in the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad.
2012 The artist passed away in Baghdad after suffering from chronic illness at the age of seventy-seven, and a memorial ceremony was held for him at the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad.
