1957 Delegated to Italy to study fine arts at the Royal Academy of Arts in Rome.
1960 Participated in the casting of the Freedom Monument in Florence, Italy.
1959 - 1960 Had participated in several art exhibitions during his studies in Rome, including a joint exhibition of Iraqi artists, which they held in one of the galleries in Rome. He studied sculpturing on marble in Carrara city, Italy.
1961 Graduated from the Rome Academy of Arts – Department of Sculpture.
1963 Studied woodcarving in West Germany.
1964 Returned to Iraq and was nominated to teach sculpture at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1965 - 1991 Taught wood and marble sculpting at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1971 Participated in the Iraqi Art Exhibition at the Media Club in Baghdad.
1972 Became a member of the Pioneers Group.
1976 - 1986 Taught wood and marble sculpturing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Baghdad.
1980 Participated in the Arab Artists Exhibition in Rome and the Iraqi Art Exhibition in Moscow.
Member of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, and the National Committee for Fine Arts.
