Iraqi painter born in 1945 in Basra, southern Iraq.
1966 Held his 1st solo exhibition, entitled "Studies", at the Hall of Irshad Directorate in Basra.
1968 Obtained a diploma in painting from IFA, Baghdad.
1971 Graduated from AFA, Baghdad, and contributed to the Academics Group.
1972 Held his 2nd solo exhibition, entitled "Women and the Poet," at IPAA, Baghdad.
1977 - 1981 Completed his studies at the National School of Fine Arts (Beaux-Arts) in Paris, France.
1978 Participated in an exhibition in INMMA, Baghdad.
1984 - 1988 Traveled to Florence and settled there for a while, after which he and his wife of Algerian origin traveled to Algeria to reside there for 5 years.
From 1984 onwards, held many solo exhibitions in Italy, Algeria, UK, Germany, Qatar, and USA and participated in many group exhibitions around the globe.
Published his book "Iraqi Artist Faisel Laibi Sahi - Soul Searching", by Al-Adeeb House for Press and Publishing in Amman.
Currently lives and works full time in art in London, UK.
