  • July 2, 1922 Artist Qutayba Shaikh Noori was born in Baghdad, Iraq, from a well-known Kurdish family
  • 1945 - 1949 He participated in all exhibitions of the Medical College during his studies.
  • 1948 / 1949 He graduated from Baghdad Medical College.
  • 1950 He joined the Pioneers Group. He remained a member until 1959 and participated in most of its exhibitions.
  • 1956 He joined the Iraqi Visual Artists Association.
  • 1957 He participated in the Open-Air Exhibition in Hampstead, London.
  • 1959 He obtained a diploma from the University of London and returned to Baghdad specializing in ear, nose and throat surgery.
  • 1969 - 1977 He held several solo exhibitions at the National Museum of Modern Art Hall and the Iraqi Visual Artists Association Hall.
  • 1970 He participated in the exhibition of wall posters held in Baghdad.
  • 1971 He participated in the One Dimension Group exhibition and the Contemporary Iraqi Art exhibition.
  • 1972 He was appointed president of the Iraqi Visual Artists Association, representing Iraq in the Secretariat of the General Union of Arab Artists. He participated in the One Dimension Group exhibition, the Al-Wasiti Festival in Baghdad and the Contemporary Iraqi Art Exhibition at the National Museum of Modern Art in Baghdad.
  • 1973 He participated in the comprehensive Iraqi Art Exhibition, the second exhibition of the One Dimension Group and the fifteenth exhibition of the Visual Artists Association at the Hall of Visual Artists Association.
  • 1974 He was appointed the head of the Iraqi Visual Artists Association and participated in the first Arab Biennial Exhibition in Baghdad and the Arab Struggle Week exhibition in Baghdad.
  • 1975 He participated in the One Dimension Group exhibition.
  • 1975 - 1977 He participated in the itinerant exhibitions in Aruba and Damascus.
  • 1978 He held a joint exhibition with poet Buland Al-Haidari entitled “Beirut Burning” at the Baghdad Club.
  • April 11, 1979 The artist passed away in Baghdad in a car accident at the age of fifty-seven.
  • 1985 A retrospective exhibition of the artist was held after his death at Al-Orfali Gallery in Baghdad.
